Restore Deleted Photos from iPhone

There are many ways to recover deleted pictures on iPhone or iPad, but some require backup in advance. 

But, there is a quick way to find files excluded before proceeding with the recuperação.

iPhone “Deleted” folder

When you delete a photo from the iOS gallery, the system automatically sends the media file to the Deleted folder.

It doesn't appear in your Camera Roll, but it can be accessed from the folder for 30 days after deletion.

On the 31st day, the photo will be permanently deleted.

It's very easy to recover before then – just follow the steps below.

1 – Open the app Photos No. iOS;

2 – In the Albums tab, scroll down. You will notice the Deleted folder under Other Albums. Tap it;

3 – Select the desired image and click Recover. If you want, you can also click on “recover all” to restore all photos in the folder;

4 – Click on the “Recover photos” to confirm the action.

Ready! The photo will return to the main photo gallery and albums it was in before.

If you look under “Latest”, the image will not be the last in the gallery as it is from the original creation date.

To find it, scroll down until you reach the period in which the photo was taken.

ICloud Backup

Didn't find the right media in the recently deleted files folder? Then you need to restore the backup to get it back.

Remember that for this method to work, the image must be in the backup.

Opposite example does not help.

How to Delete Duplicate Images from iCloud

When restoring a backup, media isn't the only old item that comes back on your phone, old messages, apps… everything comes back.

Therefore, before restoring, analyze the backup date and see if it is worth it.

Follow the steps below:

1 – First of all, make a recent backup of your cell phone. If something goes wrong restoring the old one, your current settings will be intact;

2 – Open the “Settings” app > “General” > “Delete Content and Settings”;

3 – Enter and confirm your access code to cell phone.

4 – The device will delete all your data. When your phone turns back on, you will go through the “Hello” screen and see the option “Restore from a ICloud Backup";

5 – Log in to iCloud and select the backup that includes the desired photos.


You can also backup using the iTunes.
